Geoff Gaston
Geoff is General Manager Commercials at Perth Energy. He has over 12 years experience in deregulated energy markets and had been responsible for managing a $1 billion energy portfolio as well as providing high level expert advice on energy purchases to a variety of large end users in Toronto, Canada. Geoff’s experience has helped build Perth Energy’s interests in both the electricity and gas retail sectors.
Geoff has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with specialization in finance and accounting. Geoff is responsible for overall sales and electricity supply contracting.
Vinod Tiwari
Vinod is Senior Account Manager and brings valuable experience to the team through his expertise and background in technical services, business development, key account and sales management in a technical environment. He has worked with six sigma, cutting edge technology companies including General Electric Co.
Vinod has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) and MBA (UWA) qualifications and is responsible for segment sales growth, business development and marketing activities for the company.
Yin Heng
Yin joined Perth Energy in 2001 as a university graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce and has gone on to become manager PE’s contracts and settlements operation in the Wholesale Electricity Market. Yin began her career as a Business Analyst, trained in customer profiling, pricing and billing. She then expanded her knowledge and expertise to process and information management, installing process improvement programs while coordinating and supervising the building of the customer database and billing system. She looks after PE’s billing interfaces with IMO and customers and liaises closely with Western Power on customer service development and data management.
James Heng
James is Engineering Manager and looks after generation project investigation and technical support for Western Energy, the fully owned subsidiary of Perth Energy that is constructing the Kwinana Swift dual-fuel gas turbine power station in Kwinana due for commissioning in mid 2010. James has 20 years experience with SECWA and the previous state owned integrated Western Power Corporation, spending time in gas fired power projects and wind farms installation. He has worked as consultant at major engineering houses in recent years in the area of design and quality audit.
Patrick Peake
Patrick is General Manager Western Energy, with responsibilities covering development of new facilities as well as operating existing plants. He had been manager corporate strategy at Western Power Corporation and was inaugural manager capacity market at the Independent Market Operator before joining Perth Energy.
Patrick has an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Harry Street
Harry is Business Analyst at Perth Energy. He is responsible for providing market analysis pertinent to the Wholesale Electricity Market and development of financial models for strategic portfolio assessment, forecasting and pricing for customers.
Harry holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a double major in Accounting and Banking from Curtin University. He has had experience at the Independent Market Operator where he worked in a variety of market related areas before joining Perth Energy.
Michael Crevola
Michael Crevola is Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Perth Energy. He is a respected finance executive who had been CFO at Carnegie Corporation and Treasury manager at Alinta. His strategic skills have been gained from acquisitions, IPO’s and business development activities he has been involved with. With a 15 year professional career in the energy and financial services sectors, he has been responsible for the development and implementation of new accounting standards, financial reporting, Treasury and financial corporate governance policies for corporate risk management.
Kheng Lim
Supporting Michael is Group Accountant Kheng Lim, who looks after management and financial accounting at Perth Energy and doubles up as project accountant for Western Energy. She holds a B.Com from UWA and spent 5 years as an auditor at Arthur Andersen Malaysia before joining a Malaysian conglomerate to become its manager operations. She joined Perth Energy in 2008.
Qasim Jabbar
Working closely with Yin is Qasim Jabbar, who came from business supplier Power Direct in Melbourne. Qasim oversees the billing system and customer support services at Perth Energy.
Miles Jupp
Miles Jupp is a Financial Analyst with Perth Energy. He is currently working on new projects, modeling, financing and analysis.
Miles has worked in Investment Banking for over 10 years in Perth, Jakarta, Vancouver and London. Over this time he has gained experience in a wide range of analysis in resources, banking and energy sectors. Miles holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Curtin University and is a Chartered Management Accountant.
Gordon Whitelaw
Gordon is a Senior Project Engineer at Perth Energy. He has over 28 years experience in electrical engineering and design. control systems engineering and systems specifications and design. Gordon's responsibilities primarily cover the technical support for the electrical and control systems design of the Western Energy power station. Gordon has worked for several operating companies and major engineering houses and has a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering) from UWA.
